How is the price worked out?
The one-way driving route through everyone’s pickups sets a per-trip rate for the vehicle. Travel exactly Mon–Fri or Mon–Sat and you get a fixed monthly package well under that rate — the site shows you the discount. Any other set of days is priced on the per-trip rate for the trips you make. Prices include 5% GST; tolls are billed separately. Your group splits the total fairly: a quarter equally, half by how far each person rides, and a quarter by the road actually driven for them — and nobody pays more than 90% of what taking the vehicle alone would cost. Where does SplitRide operate?
Hyderabad, on routes up to 30 km one way — the city, ORR corridors and the airport. More cities follow.
We only travel a few days a week — is it cheaper?
You pay only for the trips you make, at the per-trip rate for your route. The biggest saving, though, is the Mon–Fri and Mon–Sat packages: a fixed monthly price for the vehicle that works out far below the per-trip rate. Pick your days and the site shows you which applies.
Is this price final?
It’s the standard rate for your route band. We confirm it, along with vehicle availability and your start date, before anything is booked. Discounts are available depending on your payment plan.
Can I request it with fewer than four people?
Yes — even alone. The vehicle costs the same however many ride, so each share grows as the group shrinks. Sharing is what makes it worth it.
How are the pickup times worked out?
From the driving time between stops on the real route, counting backwards from when you need to arrive. The confirmed schedule comes with your vehicle.
What happens after I request a ride?
You get a reference number straight away and your request goes to our operations team. We check vehicle and driver availability for your route and timings, then come back to confirm.
Can the group change later?
Yes, before the ride starts. Adding or removing someone can change the route band, so the price is re-confirmed with you.
Is our information private?
Your request is stored only so we can respond to it, and exact pickup points are shared only with the assigned driver. Full detail is in our privacy policy.
